Note: If the word being defined is a blue, underlined link, then I have expanded upon the basic definition in a blog post.
Definitions________________________________________
1960’s: Freedom. This symbol is very personal to me. This era in American history feels driven by the need for individual freedom. I use the 60’s in a dream to symbolize freedom.
Air: One of the four elements in ancient Greek philosophy. The unseen mover that generates energy. I think of air energy as that which reminds us that just because it can’t be seen, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. What causes air to move? Differences in pressure created by warm air and cool air meeting account for an unbalanced force acting upon the air causing it to move. The way I see it is that the air moves in order to bring it all back into balance.
- As a breeze: Something that comes easy to you.
- As Wind: A power that can turn windmills or flatten cities.
- An earthly power, heavenly power, personal power or someone else’s power; the power of movement.
- An example is the windmill that powers a town.
- A lack of movement, when the air is not moving in your dream, could imply feeling powerless.
- As Storms: When your internal energy is swirling and destructive this could show up in your dream as a storm such as a tornado or hurricane. Anger manifests as a tornado. Your dream symbols can show you how you’re using your internal energy. Maybe you didn’t realize how angry you were at someone until you saw yourself chasing the object of your wrath as a tornado!!
Alive: When something is alive in your dream it represents the ability to do work, to produce something. For example, if a pencil is alive in your dream, perhaps you are being told to write or draw something.
Antiques: Old things of value.

Awaken: When you are asleep in a dream and actually wake-up, this is a clue that you are “waking-up” to what is going on around you. This would be something that you were previously unaware of.
Baby: Newly born. In a dream could mean giving birth to something new. For example:
I dreamed of a baby covered in ice. Ice symbolizes frozen life force. Therefore, this baby was about something new coming into my life, but frozen life force was preventing it. I was being too cold in a particular situation not allowing new things to come to life.
Bathroom: A room in your house where you eliminate waste, clean and groom yourself. In a dream a bathroom means getting rid of anything that makes you feel yucky.
Bed: The piece of furniture that dominates a bedroom. Beds provide a soft, comfortable place to sleep. A bed in your dream will symbolize the degree of comfort you are feeling in a particular situation. The state of the bed will also provide a clue to the situation you are dreaming about. Are you sleeping on Cloud 9(a really good bed) or a bed of nails(really bad) or something in-between?
Bedroom: A bedroom is the place where you sleep and where you dream. As a dream symbol it represents a personal, private place inside of you.
Bicycle: Signifies movement from one place or circumstance to another. If a bicycle is not your usual form of transportation, why would you choose a bicycle in a dream instead of a car? A bicycle signifies using more of your personal energy in the movement.
For example: A friend received a message from her son who had passed away. The fact that he was riding a bicycle, although he normally drove a car, showed the personal effort involved in bringing the message from one realm to another.
