About Me
I am a mom and wife with a wonderful, loving family. I enjoy my work as a bank teller, because I find the interaction with people to be enjoyable and naturally stimulating. I usually have a smile on my face and love in my heart. I’ve taken a few college classes at the local community college, and I especially enjoy those that focus on the spirit. I am interested in how a universal energy, common to all and everything, works both mentally and physically. Dreams became my avenue for exploration of that interest.
About the Blog
My interest in dreams intensified about “10” years ago, when I started to dream on a regular basis and actually remember what I had dreamed.
Of course, most of what I was dreaming made no sense to me. Therefore, I did what most people do when they want to know what their dream means; I looked it up in a dream dictionary! Lo and behold, I found out that I could possibly have twins next year. What utter nonsense! On the path to where I am now, I read many books, attended classes and a few seminars on dream analysis. What I found is that everyone’s interpretation of someone else’s dream is colored with their own particular beliefs. I found that I needed to discover my own meanings for the symbols that appeared in my dreams.
What good does it do us when we receive a message from within ourselves that we can’t understand? Why do we use symbols that we find hard to decipher when we are awake? Though it makes little sense, there must be a reason behind it. In exploring those reasons we delve deeper into our subconscious and learn a language, so that we may better understand ourselves.
My hope is that my experiences help others to understand their own. At the same time, sharing with other dreamers broadens our horizons. I am by no means an expert, simply a fellow dreamer with a dream.
